Newly built and opened in 2024, Quinta do Fraguil farmhouse has all the comforts you would wish for. Resembling a traditional farmhouse from the Douro region, the house is cladded with old chist stone. The house comprises of 2 floors. On the upper floor there are 3 spacious double bedrooms (1 en-suite) and 1 bathroom servicing the 2 remaining bedrooms. All the rooms offer a panoramic seating window overlooking the beautiful Douro Valley landscape. The ground floor has a large open plan lounge with a wood burning fireplace, a dining area which comfortably seats 10, a fully equipped kitchen, a toilet, a storage room and a living area. Facilities include Smart TVs with international channels (1 in the living area and one in each bedroom) and WiFi throughout.

This is a self-catering property. The maximum number of guests per reservation is 8 (2 in each bedroom and 2 more sleeping in the living room sofa-bed).

On the outdoor area next to the house, there is an amazing terrace offering 180 degree panoramic views over the Valley and Douro River. It has a stone built table large enough for 10 people, barbecue ready to go, a swimming pool and a spacious lounging area for your sun tan sessions.

The farm´s size is close to 1 hectare and has a small but very old vineyard, olive trees from which you’ll try the olive oil and a few almond trees, a small ruin and lots of space for a picnic.

Car park is available for up to 3 vehicles and an electric vehicle charging plug is also available on site.
